Passenger Sales Executive

A. Overall Purpose of Job

To implement sales strategies and monitor sales performance in areas of coverage.


B. Responsibilities

1. Discuss sales plans and strategies with superiors to formulate line of actions and directions to generate sales.
2. Visit agents and potential clients to maintain good rapport in order to promote sales.
3. Monitor agents activities and performance.
4. Provides statistical analysis to superior for future plans.
5. Distributes timetables, market fare sheets, tour brochures and clarifies/explain to agents/clients of its content/application.
6. Process clearance for discounted rates and other incentives for agents/clients subject to the approval of the superiors.
7. To solicit and develop new business potentials.
8. Coordinate with reservations for priority/space confirmation to maximize revenue and seat utilization.
9. Coordinate with departments concerned for special handling for individual/group travel.
10. Investigate on complaints and resolve problems pertaining to sales matters.
11. To gather updated market/competitors activities and pricing and submit to superior as inputs for marketing plans.
12. To update/inform agents and clients of new destinations/flights and schedule changes and other sales related matters.


C. Other Tasks

1. Distribute giveaway items to agents/clients.
2. Attend meetings and functions related to sales and marketing.
3. Attend official functions on behalf of the company.
4. Airport send-off for special/group/incentive traveler.
5. Conduct product update/seminars to agents/clients.
6. Undertake any other related duties assigned by superior from time to time.
