Data Research and Standards Specialist ( CEBU CITY )

Responsibilities

  • Lead data research and analytics for the Data Management team by making use of statistical tools to analyze simple, moderate and complex data sets in the Finance and Logistics space.

  • Design, build and maintain organizational standards for Data Management processes

    • Data Quality Validation Methods

    • Data Normalization Methods

    • Data Derivation Methods

  • Help ensure organizational compliance to the agreed Data Standards.

  • Research methods and concepts to improve Data Management processes.

    • Data Quality Validation Methods

    • Data Normalization Methods

    • Data Derivation Methods

  • Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables.

    • Acts as a liaison for matters pertaining to data analysis

    • Prepares decks for internal and external client purposes

    • Presents data analysis decks to internal and external clients

Requirements to Apply

  • Bachelor's Degree in any of the following fields:

    • Sciences: Physics, Mathematics, Statistics

    • Engineering/IT: Industrial Engineering

    • Finance: Accountancy, Audit, Supply Chain Management

  • At least 3-5 years experience in a related field.

  • Innately analytical and keen with details.

  • Proficiency in SQL Query Language and basic applications including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Skill in verbal and written communication to analyze, interpret and address business needs and requirements.

  • Skill in managing a project, keeping schedules/timelines and coordinating with various teams.

  • Ability to work with minimal guidance or supervision in a time critical environment.

  • Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt to changing business needs and processes.

  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management and customers.

  • Experience in data stream and data transmission protocols, data interchange standards (EDI, EDIFACT, XML, etc) is a plus.
